Baby Booties Pattern

Here’s another one of my very own creations. These are very simple, yet totally cute, itty bitty baby booties!

Materials:

Worsted Weight Yarn (#4)
H Hook
Needle

Directions

Ch 9

Round 1: Work 2 DC in 3rd chain from hook, DC in next 5 chain, 6 DC in last chain, working along the other side of the chain, DC in next 5 chain, 3 DC in last chain, slip stitch in top beginning chain. (22 Stitches)

Round 2: Ch 2, HDC in the same stitch as the chain 2 and slip stitch, 2 HDC in next 2 DC, HDC in next 5 DC, 2 HDC in each of the next 6 DC, HDC in next 5 DC, 2 HDC in each of the next 3 DC, slip stitch to beginning chain. (34 Stitches)

Round 3: Ch 2, HDC through back loop of each of the next 34 stitches around, slip stitch to beginning chain. (34 Stitches)

Round 4: Ch 2, HDC in next 8 stitches, [DC2TOG] 8 times, HDC in next 9 stitches, slip stitch to beginning chain. (26 Stitches)

Round 5: Ch 2, HDC in next 8 stitches, [DC2TOG] 4 times, HDC in next 9 stitches, slip stitch to beginning chain. (22 Stitches)

Round 6: Ch 2, HDC in next 8 stitches, [DC2TOG] 2 times, HDC in next 9 stitches, slip stitch to beginning chain. (20 Stitches)

Round 7: Ch 2, DC in each stitch around, slip stitch to beginning chain. (20 Stitches)

Round 8: Ch 2, HDC in each stitch around, slip stitch to beginning chain. (20 Stitches)

Round 9: Ch 1, SC in each stitch around, slip stitch to beginning chain. (20 stitches)

Round 10: Slip stitch in each stitch around. Fasten off. Weave in ends. (20 Stitches)

Fold top of bootie over. Voila! There you have an adorable little bootie! Let me know if you have any difficulties and I’ll try to explain it to you the best that I can!
