Flower Headband Pattern

True to my word, here is a pattern I created all on my own! I find that everyone absolutely loves these things, so here you go!

    Headband Instructions

Worsted Weight Yarn (#4)
H Hook
Measuring Tape

The finished items will stretch about 1-2 inches, so to determine the size you’ll need, I supplied some basic measurement below:

0-3 Months, Approximately 13-15 Inches
3-6 Months, Approximately 15-17 Inches
6-12 Months, Approximately 17-19 Inches
1-3 Years, Approximately 18-20 Inches
Child Size, Approximately 19-22 Inches
Teenage Size, Approximately 21-23 Inches

Chain an even amount of chains to desired length in the chart above (Unstretched), join to beginning chain with a slip stitch (be sure your chain isn’t twisted!!!)

Round 1: SC in back hump of first chain and in each chain around, join with a slip stitch.

Round 2: Ch 4, Skip 2 stitches, HDC in the next *(ch 2, skip 2 stitches, HDC in next) repeat from * around until you have 2 stitches remaining, skip two stitches, join to stitch 2 of beginning chain 4 with a slip stitch

Round 3: Ch 1, SC in each chain and HDC around, join with slip stitch. Weave in ends

  1. Thank you for sharing! I crocheted this to go with a baby blanket, and cowgirl booties I made for a friend’s baby. It was super easy, and it’s super cute!! 🙂

  2. Can you please explain “Round 3: Ch 1, SC in each chain and HDC around, join with slip stitch.” Is that suppose to be a sc and a hdc in each chain or sc in each chain around THEN HDC in each chain around? Thank you
