I know it’s only the end of July, but I have been in Christmas mode for about 2 weeks already! I’ve even started making lists and working on gifts!! So far, I’m quite proud of the sweater that I am working on for my Momma! It’s heather grey and so simple, yet elegant at the same time! The progress of which I posted below!
It’s hard for me to concentrate on just one project at a time, so I’m also halfway trough a tank top for my three year old (AU) and a diaper bag play set for her babies! I’m so excited for her to open it on Christmas morning! Hell, I’m pretty darn excited for everyone to open everything and I haven’t even made half of it! The people who are giving me the most trouble are the men in my family; I can’t think of a darn thing to make them, including my husband. Forgive me, not ALL the men in my family are difficult, my Dad being one of whom who is not; I’m making him a set of golf club covers in his favorite college football team colors, FSU!
Here’s an example of my inability to concentrate…was working on the sweater, got bored, made this instead…
Usually, at this time of the year, I have my sewing machine out and am in Halloween mode, but this year, I’m just not feeling Halloween. It’s sad because, normally, Halloween is my favorite time of year. My girls have kept it simple for me this year with both wanting to be fairies, so when the feeling hits, I will start on those. M is being Captain America (being one, he doesn’t have a choice in what he gets to be).
I the meantime, if anyone can help me come up with an idea for an electric guitar playing, 26 year old, Air Force jet mechanic, I would be most grateful!
Bright thoughts and happy days,
P.S. if anyone feels like entering a giveaway, I currently have one going on and you can enter through this link: http://www.rafflecopter.com/rafl/share-code/MTc1YmY1MjU1NDJkYTgzZmMxMDI2ZWQ2MzlkMDJiOjY=/
