Over the last year, I’ve been working on writing my own patterns, both free and paid, and making things for the local homeless shelter. One of my favorite projects I did was a sweet little baby blanket in linen stitch (as seen on the left). It was lightweight and draped beautifully. What I like most about it is the texture it provided with no holes for little fingers and toes to get caught in. If you’re interested in the pattern, here’s what I did:
Linen Stitch Baby Blanket
1. Sc in 4th ch from hook, *ch 1, skip ch, sc in next ch* repeat from * to * across. Ch 2, turn.
2. Sc in first ch space, *ch 1, sc in next ch space* repeat from * to * across ending with a sc in the 2nd stitch of your beginning ch 2. Ch 2, turn.
Until we we meet again,
