Back At It

Linen Stitch Baby BlanketLast year was such an eventful and crazy year that I was lucky if I had a clear thought the whole time! Anyway, here I am, back at it, and I will make my best attempt at not disappearing on anyone!

Over the last year, I’ve been working on writing my own patterns, both free and paid, and making things for the local homeless shelter. One of my favorite projects I did was a sweet little baby blanket in linen stitch (as seen on the left). It was lightweight and draped beautifully. What I like most about it is the texture it provided with no holes for little fingers and toes to get caught in. If you’re interested in the pattern, here’s what I did:

1. Sc in 4th ch from hook, *ch 1, skip ch, sc in next ch* repeat from * to * across. Ch 2, turn.

2. Sc in first ch space, *ch 1, sc in next ch space* repeat from * to * across ending with a sc in the 2nd stitch of your beginning ch 2. Ch 2, turn.

Until we we meet again,
