Two Strap Baby Booties Pattern

Another one of my patterns that I am moving from a download to my blog here!  This is one of my most favorite designs to date!  This pattern has been fully tested.

Two Strap Boots

Materials:

1 Worsted Weight Yarn in Main Color

E/4 – 3.50mm Hook

4 Buttons

Tapestry Needle

Scissors

Gauge: Using boot sole for gauge, it should measure 3.25″ from heel to toe in size 0-6 months

Directions:

Sizes: 0-6 Months (6-12 Months)

Chain 11(13)

Round 1: HDC in 3rd ch from hook, HDC in each of the next 7(8) stitches, 6 HDC in last ch, DO NOT TURN, working along the other side of the ch, HDC in next 7(8) stitches, 5 HDC in last/beginning ch, join with a sl st to beginning ch 2.

Round 2: ch 2, HDC in each of the next 8(9) stitches, 2 HDC in each of the next 5 stitches, HDC in each of the next 8(9) stitches, 2 HDC in each of the next 5 stitches, join with a sl st to first HDC.

Round 3: ch 2, HDC in each of the next 8(9) stitches, [2 HDC in next st, HDC in next st]5 times, HDC in each of the next 8(9) stitches, [2 HDC in next st, HDC in next st]5 times, join with a sl st to first HDC.

 

Round 4: ch 3, working in back look only, DC in each st around, join with a sl st to beginning ch 3.

Round 5: ch 1, sc in each of the next 4 stitches, sc2tog 10(12)times, sc in each stitch around, join with a sl st to beginning ch 1.

Round 6: ch 3, DC in each st around, join with a sl st to beginning ch 3.

Round 7: ch 1, sc in next 4 stitches, sc2tog 5(6) times, sc in each st around, join with a sl st to beginning ch 1.

Round 8: ch 1, sc in next 4 stitches, sc2tog 3 times, sc in each st around, join with a sl st to beginning ch 1.

Round 9: ch 1, sc in each st around, join with a sl st to beginning ch 1.

Left Bootie:

Row 10: sl st in next 3 sts, ch 17, DC in 3rd ch from hook, DC across ch and in next 22(24)sts, ch 1. Turn.

Row 11: sc in 1st st and across, ch 20, sc in 9th ch from hook and across ch and sts. Fasten off.

 

Right Bootie:

Row 10: sl st in next 8 sts, ch 17, DC in 3rd ch from hook, DC across ch and in next 22(24)sts, ch 1. Turn.

Row 11: sc in 1st st and across, ch 20, sc in 9th ch from hook and across ch and sts. Fasten off.

Both Booties:

Lower strap: attach yarn to bottom section of ankle wrap with a sl st, ch 20, sc in 9th ch from hook and across ch, join with a sl st. Fasten off. Weave in ends
