Paris MetalasseCircular Baby Afghan: Complete

I finished a project recently that I was absolutely in love with from the moment I started it on March 15th! The Paris Metalasse Circular Baby Aghan by Pricilla Hewitt. The yarn I used was Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable in the Stained Glass colorway! I absolutely fell in love with the way this yarn worked with this pattern! The only problem I found, was the amount of yarn it actually used. I ended up using 7 entire skeins! And when I say entire, I mean entire; I ended up with less than two feet of yarn leftover. It would have ended up pretty expensive too but I only purchased skeins when I had a coupon. I am so excited about the turn out of this blanket that I plan on making more in the same yarn, but different color ways!

I mean, how perfect did those cables come out?!? I though, for sure, that I’d end up with a few cables that were at least half and half in color, but I ended up with none! Each spiraled cable has its own beautiful color, which I think helped this blanket look so amazing!

I highly, HIGHLY, recommend this pattern to anyone who is looking for something different, yet simple. It is simple in its creation, yet stunning once finished! The pattern is only 62 rounds and it took me less than a month to make, so it would be great for that last minute baby shower gift! My finished blanket measures about 37 inches in diameter.

If you have the extra money, I highly recommend purchasing the pattern book on Ravelry for $10.00. It contains 15 beautiful patterns that are simple, but have stunning results. If you do decide to make one, I would love to see your final results!
Stay Inspired!
