The “Everyone Has Their Own Version” Ripple Blanket Pattern

The title says it all, everyone has their own (or their own favorite) version of a ripple blanket. This is mine. It’s straight and to the point. I’ve provided my row counts and colors for you if you wish to make a similar one. 

The “Everyone Has Their Own Version” Ripple Blanket

Materials:

Any yarn you wish

Any hook that works with your yarn choice

Scissors

Tapestry Needles

Notes:

-Ch 3 Counts as a stitch throughout entire pattern
Directions:

Chain any amount of 14 + 2

Row 1: DC in third ch from hook, DC in next 4 stitches, (dc2tog)twice, DC in next 4 stitches, *2DC in next 2 stitches, DC in next 4 stitches, (dc2tog)twice, DC in next 4 stitches** repeat from *to** until 1 stitch remains, 2DC in last stitch.

Row 2: Ch 3, turn, DC in same stitch as beginning ch-3, DC in next 4 stitches, (dc2tog)twice, DC in next 4 stitches, *2DC in next 2 stitches, DC in next 4 stitches, (dc2tog)twice, DC in next 4 stitches** repeat from *to+* until 1 stitch remains, 2DC in last stitch.

Repeat row 2 until you’ve reached your desired length.
