I have these skeins of Caron Cakes that I’m not quite sure what to do with. I think something as big as a blanket would come out looking funny due to the sudden color changes, so I couldn’t force myself to make one and a sweater comes out funny because of the sudden changes, trust me, I tried to make one for my daughter and it turned out so weird, especially the sleeves, but it’s the color she wanted, so I sucked it up. In the end, I needed another Christmas gift, so I grabbed a skein and a pair of needles and set off on an adventure.
Here is the result of my adventure:
- Worsted Weight (4) Yarn (Caron Cakes in Blueberry Cheesecake was used)
- US9/ 5.5mm Needles
- Slip Stitches are done purl-wise
- Row 1-5: Knit
- Row 6: K6 *k2tog, yo, k1, yo, sl 1, k1, psso, repeat from * to last 6 stitches, k6.
- Row 7: k5, purl to last 5 stitches, k5
Repeat Row 6 & 7 until desired length
- Knit 5 rows
Bind off and weave in ends.
I hope you enjoy!
