Ah Lion Brand Homespun, how I love your texture, your colors, and your soft fuzziness. What I don’t love, however, is your ability to wash out most of the patterns I’ve ever tried you with…at least until now!!
I have a bunch of Homespun yarn that was gifted to me by a friend and by a bunch, I mean 56 skeins!! I didn’t have a clue what to do with it; every pattern outside of a simple hdc or dc ended up being a complete wash and I don’t like making mermaid tails that often. Luckily, I discovered a simple Chevron pattern does this yarn beautifully and a larger hook makes this a nice sized afghan quickly.
Homespun Peep Hole Afghan

Repeat Row 2 until you’ve reached 50″ or your desired length!
See! Super simple and now I know what to do with all those skeins of Homespun stuffed in my yarn closet!
I’d love to see what you’ve made using this and any of my other patterns, so please share with me on Facebook, Instagram, or Ravelry!
